Charlene Mendoza has developed and coordinated different funding and academic programs for underrepresented students in Tucson and Southern Arizona. She works hard in different social justice and community projects in this border region. Recently, she was appointed as a Chief of Staff at Mayor Regina Romero in the City of Tucson. Charlene is passionate about equity and representation. She has a very inspirational teaching career in public and charter schools. In this picture, Charlene is sharing a good time with her daughter.
